Pets are Barbie victims too

McKee: Pets are Barbie victims too
February 2014 Super Bowl Sunday

(6 month time limit has been reached so the McKee's take a cheap shot Play by Play transcript)

Good Afternoon, Barbie Wars Fans. We have an exciting Play by Play update for you today. I know most of you have been on the edge of your seat for “whats coming up next” and I'd say it's particularly interesting living day to day wondering “WHEN” the next hit was going to be, but I tell you what folks No one excepted the 6 month fumble from the Morris’. We have been watching the exhilarating tension between the 2 families’s for years now and the stakes were getting very high.

The McKee’s saw their chance to bring the game back down with a dirty undercut to the Morris Animals.

Wait did I hear you right? The animals? Yes.. yes, that is correct they're telling me that the McKee’s snuck in to the Morris’ home while they were at The McKee’s Mothers Super Bowl party and put Barbie Polar Fleece coats on the unsuspecting Puppies Wilber and Cheery and wait there’s more.. Anza the Cat also got a  Barbie crinkly cat bag to sleep in, that’s a low blow.
This play was created by Little dude who had been on the sidelines.
Way to go McKee team.

Barbie Dream House

McKee: Barbie Dream House
May 2013

Have you ever heard the story about how the Taj Mahal was built? If you haven't, you should look it up. The cliffnotes version is that an Indian emperor built it to honor his wife. Not to compare the Barbie Dream House to the Taj Mahal, but that's how I feel about the magic we just orchestrated on the home of the Morris's.

Zombie Barbie of the Dead

Morris: Zombie Barbie of the Dead
October 2012

There was no warning, no portent of any sort. It just happened. One crisp Sunday afternoon Lady McKee was coming home with her friend Mr. Brown. The world was safe and we were secure in our comforting routine existence, the next moment it was all gone. If she knew the horror that awaited her in her own home... I wonder if she would have turned back.

On this autumn day Mr. Brown pulled the car into the drive way of the McKee home, Lady McKee got out of the car to get the gate as she pulled the huge wooden gate open and walked onto the deck she screamed, a scream that will never leave her. A sign on the wall foretold what was to come next “DANGER Zombie Feeding Area”. Strewn around under that fateful sign were body parts, hardly anything left from the past victims. Ironically the pile of guns laid at their feet were still mostly full of ammo. Something happened here... Something bad... But what?

As Mr. Brown parked the car and walked up to the gruesome scene Lady McKee had somewhat recovered and to her, there was no turning back. This was her house, her home and she was going to take it back, take it ALL back. Gathering her resolve she started for the pile of weapons and split them 50/50 with Mr. Brown. Then, loaded and prepared themselves for the worst.

Pausing at the door, noting the flaking white paint she listened. Satisfied that she could not hear anything from the other side she twisted the handle, opening the door and going into the darkness beyond.  Lady McKee advanced inside the home slowly when a pale white hand that shot out of the darkness of another room, the first answer to what happened here zombies, the sign wasn’t make believe. As it approached her moaning arms out and desperately trying to grab her, Lady McKee scrabbled for her weapon, brought the gun up alongside her waist, pointed it into the darkness where two dull eyes stared back at her. One shot rang out loudly, causing two others zombies in the hallway to notice the fresh meat that walked into the home. Lady McKee staggered backward as Mr. Brown who had her back shouldered into the room and shot. A bullet from his gun whipped past her and slammed into the fallen zombie’s skull. He said "always double tap".

Lady McKee looked up and in the hallway were 2 little golden haired girls; the new advancing zombies. Deliberately pacing her shots, Lady McKee with tears in her eyes started firing at the two little girls and her attackers started falling. as the duo moved over the girls body’s and down the hallway into the living room more figures lurched from the couch. Then despite her methodicalness with an unfamiliar weapon, Lady McKee's gun jammed as she was in the doorway. Stumbling over the mounting pile of bodies behind her Lady McKee fell down as the zombies began to approach. Mr. Brown seeing the failure of her gun began to fire faster in rising panic. He pulled Lady McKee back though the house onto the deck to regroup.

Fortuitously, Mr. McKee arrived on the scene at the same time, seeing his wife covered in blood and gunpowder on the back deck with a hurt leg. He knew she could no longer continue clearing their home, Mr. McKee took up the gun and with fierce determination he marches into the house and hears the scratching… rapping on the bedroom door…

As Mr. McKee opened the bedroom door, she was there… all of her pink bloody horror… Zombie Barbie. We’re not even sure she knew what she was. She turned, rising off the bed and said “I’m Barbie, do you want to play?” Mr. McKee started laying rounds into her she was advancing. Because Mr. Mckee just arrived on the scene he hadn’t known the walking nightmares needed to be shot in the head and he was pumping her full of lead in the body, Lady McKee came up behind him and with one aimed shot, shot her in the head… dead.. The McKee’s were safe and their home secure.  The sign outside was finally wrong, this was no longer a Zombie Feeding Area, but a Zombie Death Trap instead.

Rules of the Ool

Morris: Rules of the Ool
January 2012

You will notice there is no 'P' in our pool. And we'd like to keep it that way.
The McKees have a hot tub, which is often the focus of any gathering at the McKee household.
After they hit me with the calendar, which I now have to leave up for an entire year, I decided to get them back with something they would have to keep up forever.
I have an uncle who runs a sign shop. I had him make up a sign for me, with Barbie in a swimsuit, 'Rules of the Pool' in Barbie-style lettering, and with all the rules of the hot tub.
This sign now hang proudly by the hot tub, for all to see. For all time.

Jaquiline D'Light

Morris: Jaquiline D'Light
November 2011

We have this mutual friend who ties balloon animals. Let's call her 'W'. One time at a pig roast the McKees hosted, W made a six foot tall pig in honor of the event. We burned it in effigy. I recruited her help for my next attack.
Some time previously there was a flood in the McKee's basement area, which destroyed, among other things, all of their Yule decorations. W, out of the kindness in her heart, went out and bought a bunch of decorations and then asked for my help sneaking over to put them up while the McKees were at work. I have lots of experience on ladders, and she believes feet belong firmly on the ground.
I had my youngest daughter with me at the time, and as soon as I was up a ladder, she promptly rang the doorbell. We didn't worry too much, as both McKees should have been at work.
I was wrong.
Mrs McKee had taken the day off for some mental well being, and answered the door in her PJs. She caught us in the act of putting up the lights. And W's project was right there in the front seat of her truck.
We managed to get Mrs McKee back inside again, and finished our decorating. When we were done, I brought her out front to ooh and ah at the lights, while W sneaked our new friend Jaquiline D'Light in through the back door and into the bathoom.
A few hours later she found she not only had new holiday decorations, but she had been Barbied!
Jaquiline, by the way, is an anatomically correct blow up doll, who was dressed in a balloon Barbie dress, complete with panties and bra. She has hosted several of our wild parties, though her current whereabouts are unknown.
